First Third: The cigar begins with an exceptionally smooth, well-rounded entry characterized by dry cedar wood, white pepper, and toasted almonds. The retrohale carries a vibrant herbal quality, nicely accented by an early contrast of sweet and mildly tangy citrus notes.
Second Third: Moving into the main body, the flavor profile turns considerably more savory. Dominant characteristics of ground coffee beans, fine leather, and dry earth step forward, while a comforting, warm baking spice develops in the background to provide a creamy texture.
Final Third: The finish emphasizes the rich, aromatic properties of the underlying Criollo leaves. Heavy mineral earth, toasted walnuts, and a deep peppery spice take the lead, harmonizing beautifully with a lingering touch of nutmeg and dark wood that remains balanced down to the final puffs.
