The palate is coated in a velvety wash of sweet cream, high-grade cedar timber, and the crisp aroma of toasted hay. The retrohale is incredibly smooth, carrying a subtle floral honey sweetness and just a whisper of white pepper.
Second Third: Settling into the expansive center of the long barrel, the flavors turn more complex and buttery. Dominant notes of roasted cashews, toasted almonds, and warm pastry dough take center stage, underpinned by a very clean, light vintage leather attribute that maintains an impeccably balanced mouthfeel.
Final Third: The conclusion gently scales up in body while remaining completely comfortable within its medium-bodied framework. Layers of dry oak, crisp mineral earth, and a closing wave of warming baking spices (nutmeg and light cinnamon) harmonize beautifully.
