The Vegas de Santiago D8 Eagle is a short, wide-format vitola created specifically for the German market as a regional edition within the popular D8 lineup. Rolled at the brand's boutique factory in the mountainous Puriscal region of Costa Rica, it combines a silky Ecuadorian H2000 wrapper over an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and a tri-country filler blend featuring Costa Rican leaf. The generous 58 ring gauge keeps the smoke temperature cool throughout, allowing the natural cocoa, wood, and nut flavors to express themselves smoothly with minimal harshness. It pairs exceptionally well with a German Hefeweizen, a smooth Speyside single malt, or a café con leche.
