Alonso Menendez
No. 40 Petit Corona Box Of 25 Cigars
The Alonso Menendez No. 40 Petit Corona is an authentic Brazilian puro that showcases the deep, dark, and naturally sweet qualities of the Mata Fina leaf grown in the Reconcavo basin. Created by the Menendez family, who famously founded Montecristo in Cuba before moving their operations to Brazil, this short-format cigar offers a sophisticated profile that is quite different from traditional Caribbean blends. It is a highly aromatic smoke with a rustic, oily appearance that provides a rich, espresso-like intensity, making it an excellent companion for a quick break or a morning coffee.

The profile is distinctly Brazilian, offering a dark sweetness and a very specific herbal earthiness.
First Third: The cigar opens with immediate notes of dark chocolate and a hint of salted caramel.
Second Third: A subtle herbal spice develops, reminiscent of anise or black tea, balanced by a rich, damp earthiness.
Final Third: The finish is clean and sweet, with lingering notes of roasted coffee and a mild, peppery tingle on the retrohale.
