Wrapped in a reddish-brown Nicaraguan Corojo Rosado wrapper leaf over an all-Nicaraguan binder and filler core, this medium-to-full-bodied Toro Sublimes yields outstanding balance, rich aromatic warmth, and consistent combustion. The unlit draw gives off rich aromas of dry cedar, roasted nuts, cocoa, and light baking spice. Lighting up delivers Pepín’s signature white pepper retrohale, rapidly giving way to balanced notes of toasted almonds, creamy oak, and light espresso. Moving into the middle third, the profile expands into layers of nutmeg, subtle caramel sweetness, leather, and dark cocoa. The final third closes clean and full-flavored, leaving a smooth aftertaste of toasted wood, roasted coffee, and lingering pepper spice on the palate.
