My Father
La Antiguedad Toro Single Cigar
Translating to "The Antiquity," La Antiguedad is the second project created jointly by José "Pepín" García and Jaime García that honors pre-castro Cuban heritage and artwork. Draped in an oily Ecuadorian Habano Rosado Oscuro wrapper over a complex double binder and select estate-grown Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, this 5.75x52 box-pressed Toro balances power with finesse. The soft pressing yields a cool combustion, allowing dark cocoa, earth, and refined baking spice notes to harmonize without overwhelming the palate. It pairs exceptionally well with a dark roast coffee, an aged añejo rum, or a full-bodied bourbon.

Opens with inviting primary flavors of sweet cocoa, rich earth, and creamy wood. Develops into secondary nuances of roasted coffee beans, white pepper, cinnamon, dark leather, and a smooth, aromatic nutmeg spice on the retrohale.
