The additional leaf maturation boosts the body slightly beyond the brand’s standard medium strength, adding rich cocoa and coffee depth to Romeo y Julieta's classic floral-wood profile. Presented in 25-count special boxes with secondary Edición Limitada bands, it pairs magnificently with a fine single-malt scotch, a rich XO cognac, or a double espresso.

Lighting up opens with rich notes of aged cedar, roasted coffee, and a distinct dark cherry sweetness. As the burn moves through the central third, the extended aging of the blend presents deeper complexity—unfolding layers of dark cocoa, toasted nuts, supple leather, light cinnamon, and a long, velvety earth and oak finish with a touch of warm spice.
