El Septimo
Sacred Art Van Gogh Single Cigar
The El Septimo Sacred Arts Van Gogh is an award-winning, ultra-premium masterpiece that stands as one of the most imposing and highly celebrated formats in the boutique market. This specific vitola is dedicated to Vincent van Gogh, representing the seventh day of creation—a day entirely intended for rest, reflection, and deep tranquility. In keeping with the luxury principles of the Sacred Arts line, the blenders engineered a completely distinct, dedicated tobacco recipe for this 9-inch Diadema rather than rolling standard production filler into a larger size.
Architecturally, the Van Gogh wears an oil-slick, dark proprietary wrapper leaf over an authentic Ecuadorian Habano binder. Inside sits a perfectly balanced core of four premium filler leaves harvested across premier estate fields in the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Ecuador. This massive stick avoids overwhelming the smoker with raw nicotine strength, relying instead on flavor depth and a smooth, evolving texture. Presented in a magnificent 20-count presentation box adorned with classical art, this rare Salomon is tailored for immersive, celebratory smoking sessions, pairing exquisitely alongside high-end VSOP cognacs, aged ports, or rich double espressos.

First Third: The tapered foot focuses the initial puffs, opening with highly refined notes of sweet oats, light hay, and cedar wood. As the burn line hits the main body, a distinct base of malty chocolate, dark cacao, and gentle white pepper begins to coat the palate.
Second Third: Moving into the heart of the giant barrel, the smoke texture turns remarkably creamy. Dominant characteristics of roasted almonds, rich leather, and dry oak take center stage, beautifully accented by an emerging sweetness reminiscent of old-fashioned English toffee and dark raisins.
Final Third: The conclusion achieves maximum complexity, balancing a smooth medium body. Indulgent waves of sweet nougat, dark chocolate, and roasted coffee beans harmonize with a clean mineral earthiness. The retrohale leaves a warm, fragrant aroma of baking spices, finishing pristine down to the final inch.
