Rattray's
Pipe Tobacco Rattray`S British Collection Dark Fragrant
A classic blend from Charles Rattray’s historic Scottish line, Dark Fragrant is a remarkably mild yet deeply flavorful Black Cavendish mixture. Uniquely crafted without heavy burley bases or intense topping syrups, this blend utilizes Virginia leaves that undergo extensive heat, steam, and pressure fermentation to turn rich and dark. Enhanced with a delicate, traditional casing of dried fruit and subtle spice, it delivers a sweet, naturally fragrant smoke with virtually no tongue bite, making it an exceptional all-day pipe tobacco or a ideal blending component to cool down stronger mixtures.

Aromas open with stewed prune, dark raisin, sweet hay, and light floral meadow herbs, developing across the palate into soft brown sugar, toasted malt, mild nutmeg, and dark cherry, before concluding with a smooth, exceptionally cool finish of gentle oak, molasses, and clean tobacco sweetness.
