The My Father Blue Toro delivers a sophisticated, medium-to-full-bodied experience that highlights the unique terroir of the Garcia family’s Honduran estate. The opening is defined by a bold burst of black pepper—a signature of the brand—which quickly settles into a rich base of dark cocoa and toasted cedar. As the cigar progresses through the second third, the box-pressed format aids a cool burn, revealing nuanced layers of roasted nuts, leather, and a subtle creamy sweetness from the Connecticut Broadleaf Rosado wrapper. The finish is long and earthy, leaving a lingering note of baking spices and espresso that remains smooth without becoming overly harsh.
