The Robusto Grande expands on the popular standard robusto format in the Tabaquero lineup created by legendary Cuban master roller Hamlet Paredes and Rocky Patel. Featuring the same oily, toothy Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper and double binder over aged Nicaraguan long-fillers, this 5x54 vitola increases smoke production and provides a cooler burn. The broader ring gauge allows the natural sweetness of the maduro leaf and the earthy spice of the Nicaraguan filler to develop with added depth and smoothness. It pairs exceptionally well with a double espresso, a full-bodied bourbon, or an aged dark rum.
