Distilled in Tain using Scotland's tallest copper pot stills, the spirit begins its maturation journey with ten years spent in first- and second-fill American white oak ex-bourbon casks. It is then transferred to Spanish oak butts for a two-year secondary maturation finished in a combination of rich Oloroso and sweet Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, imbuing Glenmorangie's delicate floral malt base with deep, spiced fruit complexity.
